Admission
Admission to the museum is by donation.
The suggested donation amount is $5-$10 per person, but this is up to you. We will never let finances get in your way of the joy of seeing dead gophers!
While we are a public museum run by a registered society, we do not get government funding and rely entirely on the kindness of our guests.
Your donation is what makes this museum possible. This is your museum! Thank you for your support!
Payment Methods
We can accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and debit.
Cash is always welcome and e-transfers can be sent to go4museum@gmail.com.
Gift Shop
Our gift shop has a variety of unique items for sale!
Many items are handcrafted, created by members of the community.
We do not have an online shop at this time.
Our Team
Our team is entirely made up of volunteers. We do our best to respond to inquiries quickly, and accommodate as many visitors and tour groups as possible.
Please be kind and respectful to museum staff.
Hibernation/Off Season
Being a volunteer run organization, we need some time to relax after the busy summer season!
We are closed to the general public from mid-October to mid-May each year.
However, if you are planning to visit during the off season, we do our best to make accommodations!
For all off season opening inquiries, please email go4museum@gmail.com
Unlocking Fee
If you are visiting outside of our regular hours of operation, we charge an unlocking fee of $20/group to open the museum. In addition, off-season visitors are asked to pay a minimum $5/person admission.
These amounts are paid in advance once we confirm your volunteer. We have had many no shows where volunteers have juggled their schedules for people that never show. It is our hope that prepayment deters forgetfulness. These fees help keep the bills paid during
This fee has been put in place to ensure that volunteer time is not wasted, and to cover off season operating expenses.
Thank you for understanding.
